Description
This module explores the biological and physiological foundations of longevity through four essential dimensions: physical and cognitive performance, the libido, the skin aging And the slumber.
The aim is to understand how the body and mind interact to maintain vitality, energy, and emotional balance throughout life.
Mitochondria, the real energy centers of our cells, occupy a central place here: their functioning conditions muscular performance, mental clarity, hormonal regulation and the ability to recover.
The module highlights the mechanisms of cellular aging, the oxidative imbalances that accompany it, as well as the levers to slow down their effects: targeted nutrition, lifestyle, stress management, sleep optimization and mitochondrial support.
Libido, sleep and performance are addressed not as isolated functions, but as reflections of a global balance where biology, energy and psychology intersect.
This module provides an integrated understanding of healthy longevity : not adding years to life, but life to years.
Objectives
pedagogic
At the end of this module, the learner will be able to:
Understanding the biological mechanisms of aging and their links to mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, and cellular regeneration.
Identify the key factors of overall performance, whether physical, cognitive, or emotional, and strategies for maintaining energy and vitality at any age.
Analyze the interactions between hormones, neurotransmitters and energy metabolism, to better understand libido, motivation, and sleep quality.
Recognizing the markers of cutaneous and systemic aging, and know how to relate nutritional, environmental and mitochondrial imbalances to tissue alteration.
Implement approaches to prevent and optimize longevity, integrating nutrition, micronutrition, stress management, stress management, restful sleep, physical activity and overall lifestyle.
